Best XP scrolls in HM - Guild Wars Forums

So basically there is 3 ideal scrolls to choose from in HM that I am aware of.

Lightbringer
Slayer's
Berserker's

For the purpose of farming survivor, what is ideal?

Also think in terms of cost.

This is also for Fronis in HM so also take into account average 'downed' (GW2 term FTW) rate and boss encounters.

What is your opinion/suggestion?

XP gain is capped at 300%, so in HM there is no point in using scrolls that offer more than 250% XP gain.

Wiki says XP is capped at 350%.

While I was killing Lev 30 wurms in HM outside Boreal Station, the 5-min boss scrolls gave about same xp as tripple scrolls due to the xp cap. It's easy to test yourself, you will gain approx 945xp max from lev 30 HM mobs solo.

However I don't know if the cap affects bosses so it might be possible you can gain double that amount.

He's not wrong though it really does top out and for that reason Lightbringer/Berserker are basically pointless.

Hero Insight is the best all around OP imo you can easily do a run a scroll with time to spare. If you want to cut costs you can run Adventurer/Hunter in it's place and just do a couple extra runs to make up the XP difference.

Lightbringers in HM dont realy give you 300% XP because of the extra 50% from Hard Mode

if you want to go for survivor using killroy punch out and you can do HM runs in 10 min (i did a 8 min run in HM once

), lightbringers are wort it. if not, the combo (adventurers/hunters/heros) + slayer (use slayers when you enter Lt. magma chamber) is very good

if you can run a veatirs farm build (and you can kill them fast) use a berserkers and you will achieve it very fast (if you dont die due to lag/mistake)

the safest and most slow way os to kill the lvl30 worms and veatirs the fastest

faster than veatirs is returning books/items/quests (if you have them prepeared before hand of corse )
